Soot-dark rubble walls, heavy oak posts and a plank roof over the back half. The working core: a stone forge hearth with a glowing coal bed, a riveted iron hood and flue, great leather bellows, an anvil on its stump with a hot bar, a quench barrel, a swage block, a coal bin, bar stock and a scrap crate. Along the walls: a workbench with a leg vice, a tool board, tongs and hammer racks, a treadle grindstone, chains and pulleys, horseshoes, a cart wheel and plank doors. The shop side: a red wares counter with a FORGE sign, hinges, pots, a kettle, lanterns, hooks, garden tools, a scrollwork gate, a cockerel vane and a waiting bench.
